On Behalf of the Patton Elementary Parent Teacher Association Officers and Executive Board members, welcome to the 2008-2009 school year. We are excited to move forward with many of the successful programs and initiatives from last year, and to embark upon some new projects. We would like to come together as a group of individuals, parents, volunteers, teachers and administrators whose one goal it is to make the education, health and welfare of children our top priority. The Patton PTA is here to work together to ensure the commitment of “every child, one voice.”

First of all I want to take a moment to thank the many volunteers who have helped Patton Elementary with a wide variety of tasks already this school year, as well as acknowledge those who have contributed in the past. Without these volunteers, the PTA could not support our school community.

I encourage ALL the families at Patton Elementary to volunteer in some way and to participate as fully as possible. The Patton PTA has a place for those who want to lead efforts, as well as for volunteers who can only help for short-term or with specific tasks. The better we know each other, and the more we support our children by participating in school events, the stronger our community.

Come and join the team of proud parents, terrific teachers, A+ academic administrators, support staff, caring community and business partners.
