The Patton Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is made up of a wide variety of Parent volunteers. Some are working parents, some stay at home, and some have little one's that tag along. Despite our different roles, we all agree that we want to contribute to our children's educational experience. Collectively as the PTA we are able to support the teachers, faculty and staff that are charged with educating our children.

As parents in the PTA we encourage all Patton families to do their part to help enhance our school. We understand we must take responsibility for supporting and encouraging the Patton community to create a positive learning environment for our children.

There are many ways for every family to get involved. Whether you can volunteer your time at the school or at home, support our fundraisers, or by getting your business or place of employment to partner with Patton, we need YOU!

Rebates programs are an important part of raising funds for our school. In 2006-07 the total amount we received from these programs was $4666.29. Thank you for your contributions!!

Patton Elementary participates in Target’s “Take Charge of Education” program Donations total 1% of your purchases at Target and Target.com and 1/2% of Target Visa Credit Card purchases made everywhere Visa credit cards are accepted. If you have a Target card Patton’s ID number for the rebate program is 96154.

It’s easy to participate in Randall’s Good Neighbor program. Simply fill out a form for a Randall’s card at their customer service desk and provide Patton’s ID number 2341. Fill in the top portion and the "Good Neighbor Program" section, indicating what account number to link to your card. Then every time you shop at Randall’s either scan your Remarkable” card or give the cashier your telephone number. Randall’s will pay 1% of the members' total grocery purchases to Patton!

Another way to support Patton is to clip Box Tops from your favorite products. Look for the 10¢ Box Tops coupon on hundreds of your favorite products. You can find Box Tops on brands such as Cheerios®, Betty Crocker®, Pillsbury®, Ziploc®, Kleenex®, Hefty® and more! Once the Box Tops are clipped, return them to the school with your child in a sealed envelope marked with “Box Tops for Education”. Rachelle Vega vega@austin.rr.com, the Consumer Rebate Volunteer, will complete all the necessary forms to ensure that Patton receives the rebate.
Last year Box Tops raised $1,649 that Patton used for Student Enrichment fee scholarships!

Save those Campbell’s “Labels for Education”! The labels are worth points that are used for software, books and other teaching aids in the Library.
